asemanfar - a blog about programming

I've decided to move my blog to asemanfar.com, Asemanfar being my last name. The old domain will still work, but update your RSS readers to point to http://feeds.feedburner.com/Asemanfar.

Finally, I've launched my blog on it's own server with it's blog engine. My old blog was on blogspot and I was unsatisfied with it so I decided to write my own blog engine in Rails and get it up. Yes, I know there are tons of blogging engines out there but I thought it'd be fun to write my own especially since it's not that complicated.

Anyway, welcome to my blog. Comments can be posted by anyone and don't require registration, the sidebar can be hidden via the hide link above it and it'll remember your preference as long as you don't clear your cookies.

The content of my blog posts will vary from completely random to programming related tidbits to occasional philosophical thoughts. The name (unbound imagination) has no direct correlation with the content, I just thought it sounds cool.

Also, you can do cool shit like syntax highlighting:
